Polish Festival at Seattle Center

Join us for Polish Festival at Seattle Center on Saturday, July 13, 2013!

Polish Festival is looking for volunteers! Whether you are greeting the public, serving food or assisting with Polish arts or crafts, YOU are the essential part of this festival!

Based on an overwhelming success of last year’s festival, the vibrant Polish-American community is proud to present their second annual festival at Seattle Center. This summer’s event on July 13, 2013 will celebrate Polish cultural traditions and contemporary achievements with audiences of the Pacific Northwest.

The program features live performances of Polish folk groups, piano and jazz artists, modern dance, poster art exhibit, cultural workshops, food demos, children’s activities and participatory dance. Presented this year again will be Folk Fashion Show with regionally inspired costumes from Poland. Booths will showcase Polish glass art, hand-crafted pottery from Boleslawiec, crystal, jewelry, and paper cut-out folk art, as well as information about local Polish-American community organizations and travel to Poland for business and pleasure. The beer garden will be well stocked with a variety of imported Polish beer. Food vendors will serve plenty of authentic delicious Polish food.

For nearly a century, the lively Polish-American community of the Pacific Northwest has organized events at their cultural center in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. This summer all Seattleites are invited to explore and enjoy Polish cultural traditions at the Seattle Center.
