Professor of International Business at Seattle Pacific University School of Business and Economics. Her research is focused on international business environment in emerging economies, including Eastern Europe, Russia and China. Prof. Poznanska was born and raised in Poland, where she obtained her Ph.D in Economics. After moving to the U.S., she continued her graduate work at Cornell University. She was also a visiting scholar at John Hopkins University, Princeton University, and Stanford University. Prior to her appointment at SPU in 1988, she taught at Skidmore College and SUNY-Albany. She published extensively on globalization in China, foreign capital holdings in Eastern Europe, structural changes in Korean financial markets and the impact of the economic surge in BRIC economies on world markets. Prof. Poznanska holds a Ph.D in Economics from Technical University of Warsaw and M.A. in Economics from the University of Warsaw. See full bio
