Professor of International Business at Seattle Pacific University School of Business and Economics. Her research is focused on international business environment in emerging economies, including Eastern Europe, Russia and China. Prof. Poznanska was born and raised in Poland, where she obtained her Ph.D in Economics. After moving to the U.S., she continued her graduate work at Cornell University. She was also a visiting scholar at John Hopkins University, Princeton University, and Stanford University. Prior to her appointment at SPU in 1988, she taught at Skidmore College and SUNY-Albany. She published extensively on globalization in China, foreign capital holdings in Eastern Europe, structural changes in Korean financial markets and the impact of the economic surge in BRIC economies on world markets. President of Wroclaw Technology Park, Professor of Wroclaw University of Technology, Dean of Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, author and co-author of over 100 papers on cryogenics, applied superconductivity and new technologies in power engineering. Dr. Chorowski is responsible for the strategy of Wroclaw Technology Park development, a place now gathering over 120 innovative and high-tech companies. Previously Dr. Chorowski spent three years at European Organization for Nuclear Research CERN at Geneva. He presently collaborates with CERN and other Big Science laboratories like DESY, GSI and ITER in field of cryogenic systems design, development, production and commissioning. Dr. Chorowski holds a Ph.D. in cryogenic engineering from Wroclaw University of Technology.

University of Washington, Jackson School of International Studies, Professor of Economics. Former consultant to the World Bank, U.S. Congress, United Nations and Polish Government, he published extensively about the post-communist transition to capitalism with leading publishers, Berkeley and Cambridge, among others and contributed regularly to Nowy Kurier, a Polish newspaper in Toronto. He writes poetry, collects modernist Polish and Chinese paintings, paints and exhibits his own works. Prof. Poznanski holds MA and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Warsaw. See full bio
